ALPS Smart Seal™ liner allows a non-constrictive hypobaric suspension of the residual limb. It has been engineered using HD Gel and covered by a limited vertical stretch fabric in the distal area for high stability within the socket. It is indicated for transtibial and transfemoral users with medium to long residual limbs and for knee disarticulation. The Smart Seal™ liner features integrated, silicone coated sealing bands that create a safe interface. The bands stretch against the socket wall, preventing the liner from slipping. Hand based splint provides digit and thumb MP extension and digit PIP/DIP extension associated with digit and hand weakness/paralysis secondary to CVA/TBI. Also helpful with decreasing minor spasticity and flexor tone.
